HE IS WILLING
HE IS WILLING
Matthew 8:1-3.
When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds [a]followed Him. 2 And a leper came up to Him and bowed down before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You are able to make me clean (well).”(A) 3 Jesus reached out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Yes! God is totally ready to heal, deliver and set us free from any power of darkness that may be oppressing our lives for His glory in His Kingdom. But here raises a question are you willing to submit yourself under His power?
We can clearly see in the book of Matthew that Christ was ready to heal this leprosy man but He was waiting on the submissive of this man. Cause they is no way you can heal a man if himself he is not willing. Let's see in verse 2 what the Man said,"Lord, if You are willing, You are able to make me clean (well).” this showed the willingness of a man also that he wanted to be healed.
Then in verse 3 Jesus answered, “I am willing; be cleansed.”this showed that He was ready and willing to heal the man He was just waiting for His concern.
Now ask yourself am I willing to cast all my worries on Him who cares for me. Reference scriptures:
Matthew 11:28. “Come to me,(A) all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.(B)
1 Peter 5:7. casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].(A)
This Scriptures clearly indicates how willing our Lord is willing to carry our burden for He cares for us and when he sets you free you are free indeed.
Not forgetting the two blind men in Matthew 9:27-30 this men went to Jesus but before they ever came to Him he showed pity on them then He was waiting for there reaction, thank God they followed Him and used there faith to put demand on the anointing that was available and they were healed from there blindness.
Has a believer be expectant whenever you are in the presence of God because your willingness of faith will show how you want change in your life. Let's always be willing and obedient, because physical obedience release spiritual Blessings for blessings of God add no sorrow.
Isaiah 1:19. If you are willing and obedient,(A)you will eat the good things of the land;(B)
Let's ask God to give us a willing heart and spirit so that we no longer have a disobedient heart, mind and spirit, but we should take advantage of His willingness Amen.
