 HOW LONG WILL YOU LIMP BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS

1 Kings18:21

Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt {and} limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word.

This life we are living is the life of decision making you think is good for you. Cause no one will force you to live a life you don't want to live in but I thank God that is always there to tell us the the right decision which can benefit us well.

We see in this context of our opening verse that the prophet of God who is Elijah is telling them at mount Carmel that," How long will you halt {and} limp between two opinions?" Cause this people they were not confident with there decision whether they are for God or Baal. And Elijah is telling them that if you are for God follow God and if you are for Baal follow him.

1 Corinthians 10:21. You cannot drink [both] the Lord’s cup and the cup of demons. You cannot share in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons [thereby becoming partners with them].

This lead us on what Jesus said that,"you can't serve two masters at the same time, but you have to hate one and love one" for our God is the jealousy God for He don't share His glory will anyone.

They is no way you can serve God and always love the world (meaning being interested with worldly things, making world things your idol) cause friendship with the world bring enemity with God. Loving the world things they is no problem but what are those things leading you to. Reference scriptures: James 4:4-5 & Matthew 6:24

Because God loves you He gave the option to choose but Him He also gave us the good option for our well been leather than Elijah he only gave us the choice to choose but he didn't tell us the right way that can really save us.

Deuteronomy 30:15,19.  “Listen closely, I have set before you today life and prosperity (good), and death and adversity (evil);19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,

This is the time to make the right decision for your own seek, it's time to go back to Him and walk in the way of life and blessings.
