 GOD'S WAYS ARE NOT MAN'S WAYS 

Isaiah 55:8-9. 

8 “For my thoughts(A) are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”(B)declares the Lord.9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,(C)so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.(D)

Yes! Brethren our thoughts and ways are not God's thoughts and ways. Yes most of us we want many things to go our own ways and not in line with God's ways.

We can't reach were we want because of our ignorance cause we don't know the will of God as the results we start to feel as if God is failing us , but we aren't fair for ourselves because we don't acknowledge the Lord in all we do.

Proverbs 3:5-6. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 14:12. (A)There is a way that seems right to a man,But (B)its end is the way of (C)death.

It's clear here God is telling us that we should acknowledge Him in all that we do, for good things work better for those who do His will and love Him Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good(A) of those who love him, who[a] have been called(B) according to his purpose.(C). For our God as better plans for us Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans(A) I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper(B) you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.(C)" , as a result when we start thinking our ways are better may lead us to destruction at last and start blaming God and forget that we are the cause of it.

1 Samuel 30:8. (A)So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

The man at God's own heart David was a man who never did anything without God's instruction and direction, because he understood that His way may lead him to destruction. Proverbs 16:2-3,9. 2 All a person’s ways seem pure to them,(B) but motives are weighed(C) by the Lord.(D)3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do,and he will establish your plans.9 In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.(P)

If we want to be one of God's best friend like David it's time to learn to acknowledge Him in all ways and He shall direct our paths and will never go astray from His presence nor fall in traps.
