 DON'T BE TOO QUICKLY TO FORGET HIS GOODNESS

Psalms 103:1-2. 

1 Praise the Lord,(A) my soul;(B)all my inmost being, praise his holy name.(C)2 Praise the Lord,(D) my soul, and forget not(E) all his benefits—

Brethren let's not be too quickly to forget His(God) goodness. Here we see the Psalmist saying to himself that all his begin must praise the Lord and should not forget how kind He is.

Psalmist understood that we humans beings it's easily to forget all the good things God as done for us, Why? Maybe because of the storm you are in now, you starting thinking God as forgotten you! No He hasn't , remember were He took you from, how he as protected and show His kindness towards you and How He as proved Himself to you that is reliable. Do not make the current situation you are passing through may it be at work, in marriage, family, school, ministry or business etc. make you forget how Faithful He is. For He is not a man that can lie or disappoint but is there to appoint you.

Philippians 1:6.  being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion(A) until the day of Christ Jesus.(B. 

Remember is there to be with us till the end for He started that work in us and He shall accomplish it Amen. For us to reach our goal in life we must understand that they will be challenges and temptations around us that we need to endure so that they strengthen and prepare us for what is ahead of us. Acts 14:22. strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.(A) “We must go through many hardships(B) to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.  But don't worry He said,"I won't leave you nor forsake you for my grace is sufficient for you" and He won't let us be tempted beyond our Faith.

Psalms 106:7,13. When our ancestors were in Egypt, they gave no thought(A) to your miracles;they did not remember(B) your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea,(C) the Red Sea.[a] 13But they soon forgot(O) what he had done and did not wait for his plan to unfold.(P)

Let's not be like our fathers or ancestors (Israel) that they forgot Him easily after all He did for them. But we are told that in every circumstance we have to praise and thank God never be anxious of nothing but let's lift our praise, worship and pray of Thanksgiving.

Job 2:9-10. His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity?(A) Curse God and die!”(B)10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish[a] woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”(C)

Imagine what Job went through were everything was taken away from him  and even reached at a point that his own wife telling him to just curse God and die. But Job understood the God he served and thus why he answered his wife that, " why do you speak so you foolish women that when good things are on us we don't complain now that bad things are happening why can't we accept them also." And we see that at last Job was blessed and delivered out of that storm and his things was restored twice as before.

Brethren keep this in mind that because of the storm you are passing through doesn't mean it's the end of the world for you but it's better you are weak that you see how big He is for that small problem you are in. Let Him increase and you decrease.
